As a mentor, Ambassador and Beta tester, I can't spread the Class Dojo message quickly enough - and little by little people I speak to are becoming converts. But it's an easy sell. Class Dojo has always been fantastic. Once colleagues see it in action, they are hooked and I know they will never stop. But one of the best things about Class Dojo is how the team there are listening to the feedback given by teachers. And today, after listening to what teachers want, Class Dojo released it's "Groups" feature, and I am so excited by this latest development, as it has made a perfect app even better!!
Students can now be arranged into multiple groups, eg reading, maths, table work etc. And when spotted working well together, a group is selected and awarded a point. The group points are collated - but individually the points are accumulated too. Sooooo.... students can now be awarded individually and also as part of a group. There are so many new things that this opens up... and I can't wait to try it out tomorrow!
Here is a screenshot of how I have set up my groups - but I'm sure I'll be tweaking them as I use them...
Well done Class Dojo team - you continue to impress and support us in an amazing way!
